In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, all locations of Sarasota-based Gecko’s Grill & Pub are offering a menu in keeping with the Emerald Isle and, of course, special liquid libations during regular hours on Saturday.
The farm fresh cabbage accompanying entrees is grown in Sarasota especially for Gecko’s by their fourth-generation sustainable farm partner, Honeyside Farms. The local farmer also provides the restaurants with other produce (squash, cukes, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries) during the entire growing season.
Naturally, corned beef and cabbage ($13.95) is on the Irish menu, plus shepherd’s pie ($12), Irish lamb stew ($12) or a combo platter comprising all of the above ($15.95). Customers also may order from the regular menu.
Guinness ($6) and $8 shots of Jameson will be offered at all of the Gecko’s pubs and Harp will also be offered at Fruitville Gecko’s. For locations, visit https://geckosgrill.com/.
