Take note, fans of Florida’s famed stone crab claws. Season continues through May 15 and then stone crab claws will be off local menus and market shelves until Oct. 15. Here’s our list of great locally owned and operated restaurants to eat the delicious claw meat, which can be enjoyed pretty much guilt free because these crabs grow back their claws, in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Remember to call first, though, because a limited supply means restaurants can’t always carry the delicacy.
