Two restaurants in Venice and Longboat Key make the list compiled by OpenTable, based on an analysis of 12 million-plus reviews of more than 30,000 restaurants across the country.
If you’re a fan of waterfront dining, you likely won’t find a better U.S. destination than Florida, at least not on the East Coast.
OpenTable, the online restaurant-reservation service company, recently unveiled its “100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America for 2019.” The list is “based on an analysis of 12,000,000-plus reviews of more than 30,000 restaurants across the country — all submitted by verified diners.”
California had the most with 24 restaurants, followed by Florida with 15 and New York with six, according to restaurantnews.com.
Two of those dining spots are in Sarasota County: Crow’s Nest in Venice and Dry Dock Waterfront Grill on Longboat Key.
