'Dining-in, but spaced out' How are restaurants in the Suncoast dealing with their new reality?
SARASOTA – 25 percent capacity while six feet apart are some of the new mandatory guidelines for dining-in in the State, so how are restaurants in the Suncoast dealing with their new reality? Owner of Gecko’s hospitality group, Mike Quillen says the group’s biggest concern is the safety of their guests and team members in every single aspect.
“In setting up the restaurants and making sure everyone is safe, we have followed CDC guidelines, we’ve worked with the Florida Restaurant and lodging very closely,” said Owner of Gecko’s Hospitality Group, Mike Quillen.
Quillen says that although each of their locations is different, they’ve taken each one and made necessary adjustments. The group has also implemented a lot of their own touches to ensure guest safety.
